Regarding the 90 days vs. 3 months question raised a day or two ago, we
had precisely the problem Cathy Porter alluded to--a young man's Eagle
application was held up for over a month longer than necessary because he
held a position 2 or 3 days less than the time he was supposed to. I had
to write a letter explaining to National that this was not the bvoy's
fault, but rather an inattentive BOR and Troop Committee. The young man
finaly got his Eagle badge, but it took some tap-dancing, lemme tell you.
3 months vs. 90 days may be nitpicking to some, but the requirements are
the requirements, and if it says 3 months, that means from (for example)
September 19 to December 19.
