This is one solution - to split the profit between those who participate - and it
was suggested at the exec committee meeting last year when this was discussed.
The problem was, we felt we ought to be working as a unit, and that the funds
ought to be for "the unit" ie everyone. This was felt to be more in the "scouting
spirit" than sharing the profit merely between those who participated. The other
problem is it is more of the dreaded paperwork for someone - and none of us have a
lot of spare time!
Nevertheless, this may be the best solution and one we adopt when the issue arises
again (as it surely will!) - but as I am not on the exec committee any more
(because I am at college half the year), I won't have a (direct) input anyway :)
