I've found that in almost all cases, (can't think of it never working)
standard Windows copy-and-paste will work. Basically, open up the file
you want to include using whatever editor or word processor that works.
Select the text you want to include and copy to clipboard. Usually
there's a menu pick, "Edit - Copy", to do this. Then get into your send
mail program and do an "Edit - Paste". The text will be entered as if
you typed it. Some editors make it even easier by allowing you to drag
the selected text using the mouse.
Even complicated documents using Microsoft Word works this way, however
you will lose the fancy features, such as fonts and text formatting.
Only the text itself gets inserted.
