Right or wrong, I wear my "parents" pin on my uniform collar to show how
proud I am of the work my son is doing.

Oh how I wish I could attend a meeting as "just a father". ;-)
I did receive another note stating that it is not proper uniforming to wear
these on my uniform, and that as Cubmaster I was setting a bad example by
not adhering to strict uniform policy, but I strongly suspect that 10 years
from now, not a single one of my Cub Scouts will remember whether or not
their Cubmaster was wearing a pin out of place on his uniform. In fact, I
will be absoutely thrilled if they remember me at all when they are filling
out the invitation list for their Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
