I don't know if it is "official", but I wear my son's current pin (in this
case, Bear) on the right collar of my uniform shirt, and the sports pins I
have earned (soccer and baseball) on the left. I wear the parent's pin on
my uniform to show how proud I am of his accomplishments (and because in my
line of work, I don't have much opportunity to wear jackets with lapels).
I wear the sports pins because I earned them with all of the coaching time
I put in with those teams.
