I work for the PBS station here in Amarillo and I can keep you
informed about the program "Scout Jamboree". It feeds to the
stations on December 22 at 1400 Eastern time. Each station
chooses to air the program as they feel like it. By calling your
PBS station and letting them know that you want to see the
program, they will maybe air the program. That's what I did
and they plan to air it here on Jan. 17 at 4pm local. I am not sure
yet if PBS will feed the program on a clear channel so that
people with dishes can watch the program. My council plans to
put a reference to the program in its news letter.
Here is a brief description of the program.....
This special highlights the 60th anniversary of the National Boy
Scout Jamboree, exploring the magnitude of the event which
involves 35,000 Scouts from the U.S. and 28 other countries.
Program hosts Ron Schara and Fred Bartzen talk with Scouts as
they visit the Jamboreeconservation trail, learn fly fishing and
scuba diving and explore career opportunities at the merit
