Sorry to have taken so long to reply to those who wanted to know the
results of my quest for extinct animals during the past 100 years. Several
folks asked what kind of answers I received. Well, here goes.
Number one on the list was the Passenger Pigeon.
The remainder are not in any order.
Steller's Sea Cow
Red Wolf of Georgia (USA)
Swamp Sparrow of Florida (USA)
Guagga (a form of zebra)
Possibly the Dodo (may be more that 100 years)
Several web site was also provided. These are the two that I still have.
I did receive an invite from Max Quiroz to visit his site is Mexico, but,
Max, you didn't give me the addy!
There was one last species that is on the highly endangered species list.
I want to thank Michael Goodnight for this contribution. Folks, we all
belong to this endangered species---the willing volunteer!
