Description -- Powhatan is the largest camp on Blue Ridge
near Hiwassee, Virginia. It can handle more than 350 Scouts
and leaders in 14
campsites. It's in a valley surrounded by mountains. Powhatan
was built in the
1950s and has been extensively remodeled in the last five
years. It has a new,
400-seat dining hall, a 900-seat ampitheater, and many new
