I'm not familiar with any but I'm sure there's something out there--but I'd
look into it very carefully before jumping in. Our Library has a (very
expensive) computer system which holds our catalog and circulation records &
prints out overdue notices, etc. One feature of this system is a module
that calls people about overdue notices & reserves. We don't have this
module but in discussions with those that do I've found that it's not
completely reliable--certain types of answering systems can fool it.
Why not stick with tried-&-true methods, at least until the technology
improves. We use a sort-of-monthly Troop newsletter to keep parents
informed and we have a phone tree set up (I call the SPL, he calls the PLs,
they call the Scouts).
