Tony, Tony, TONY
It seems like you are having a few minor difficulties.
ARE YOU HAVING FUN YET or STILL
One thing for sure is that you are a man of details which
is one of the SM preferred requirements. I love your time
logs as a man after my heart. Weren't U all up a bit late.
Try calling your DC rather than your DE. The DC is usually
a little older and more experienced in reality vs theory.
OK SOME IDEAS
1>Call Council and find your Order-Of-The-Arrow Post
a>Call the O-A person or persons
b>Ask to Borrow One of their 14 or 15 yr old scouts =
for a meeting or two to lend his leadership skills.
-You won't believe what these guys can and have done.
2>Do a Campout every month or an action outing every two
weeks like swimming, or RollerSkating(my favorite), =
or Bowling, or Whatever. Action, Continuity, and Fun
and DRAWING to young men.
3>GET OTHER ADULTS INVOLVED
Now I do like the Music Man (A 1950's musical) but hey
guy you are not a "ONE MAN BAND" nor should want to be.
4>Visit some troop meetings with your SPL, Key ASM
5>Invite your Troop to go along with another troop
in your area for monthly campouts as if you are
just another patrol cooking and living by yourself.
BASICALLY The above is telling you to use others to help =
your young troop have some real templates they can =
model model model and model somemore.
YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
