Got ahold of some equipment from a defunct Troop. Their library was
included. In it I found;
BSA Handbook, 6th Edition, with 1965 supplement, the one I had when I was a
BSA Handbook, 9th Edition
Handbook for Scoutmasters, Copyright 1947, I think 4th Edition, 1st printing
Handbook for Scoutmasters, 4th edition, 10th printing (1956). Cover the same
as the above, except that the Scoutmaster and Scout shown are wearing
fatigue caps instead of campaign hats.
Handbook for Patrol Leaders, 1959 printing of 1950 edition, the one I used
when I was a Scout.
Patrol and Troop Leadership, Copyright 1972, printed 1975. Scouts wearing
Patrol Leader Handbook, 3rd edition, 7th printing (1980 copyright). Red
berets on the Scouts, and a Webelos scout in blue uniform.
Patrol Leader's Program Notebook, Copyright 1959, the one I used in the
I ought to be able to mine these for some good ideas, eh? Better yet, I'll
turn them over to the Scouts (except for the SM handbooks). But only if
they promise to take real good care of them.
