WORLD JAMBOREE FEES
Each time a world jamboree takes place the host nation publishes
their registration fee which usually includes direct service rendered
by that country.
This normally includes all administration cost and program cost, all
on-site meals; participation fee, usually includes cost of materials
and construction cost of the site; patch/neckerchief and some
Countries that participate in world jamborees' establish their own
registration fees which are developed and approved by that countries
The following categories of goods/services are prorated as part of
the BSA registration fee for Scouts, Explorers, unit leaders,
contingent headquarters staff, and international service team
In order to insure a successful experience for all BSA world jamboree
participants, national support from the International Division,
Jamboree Division, and four regional offices provide secretarial and
registration support interview and recruitment of leadership and
facilitating the details and logistics of moving nearly 2,000 BSA
participants from one country to another and back safely.
Activity insurance, general liability, accident & sickness, travel
assistance and all important event cancellation insurance which
guarantees a refund of registration, travel fees, and tour fees if
The US contingent, on the recommendation of the BSA Health & Safety
committee purchase medical supplies which are shipped to the host
-Global Village/National Exhibit/Gateway Displays
Registration fees help defray the cost of designing, building, and
shipping BSA displays/booth for the world jamboree.
Each BSA participant will receive a BSA contingent patches,
neckerchief, world crest emblems, nameplates, duffel bags, and tentage
for sleeping at the site. In addition, the Scout, Explorer, and Leader
registration fee includes purchase of necessary campsite equipment and
supplies and shipping cost.
All BSA participants are informed via hard copy bulletins, letters,
booklets, and other informational literature and support materials.
BSA Scouts, Explorers, leaders, contingent and international service
team participants will be transported to and from the jamboree site on
BSA chartered buses.
BSA national travel service is in process of finalizing air
transportation fees which will reflect best price available for
charters and scheduled airline service to and from the USA and

are prorated through the BSA contingent.
