If someone wishes to donate directly to a Scouting unit, I do not understand
why they should not be able to do so. While I realise there are many
arguments in the BSA against doing so (FOS and so forth), why should there
be a policy against supporting the units that provide support for the kids
you know, in the neighbourhood where you work or live?
Personal choice really ought to play a part in this, shouldn't it?
Just another sign that the bureaucracy is to heavy on the shoulders of the
people it is SUPPOSED to be supporting (as opposed to the other way round).
But, then, that's only the personal opinion of...
