Since the older handbooks (PL, SM) and the fieldbook have been fondly
remembered and reprints/copies hoped for. What about those great old Boy's
Life reprints from the late 60's and early 70's? A copy of the Scout masters
handbook also comes to mind. If I remember correctly it was like wood's
wisdom without the program plans. Our PLC used it for ideas when we could
talk the SM out of it for the night.
I think enough interest could be shown to get National to at least
consider making a short run reprint. From what I have seen the 1911 Handbook
for boys reprint is selling well.
If anyone is making a list of interested people add my name to the list
for 1 of each. The 2 books i have are starting to show a little use after 25+
