One of the things my husband and I do with our pack really seems to work.
It's basicly the three strikes and your out method, but we give our kids a
feather to hold during the meeting.
We started this two years ago and have only had one child get three feather (
our son of course).
It's a fairly simply system. Explain the rulesof the den or pack and tell
them if they brake the rules they will get a feather.
On the third feather they are told that they are having a bad day and they
need to go home and return to the next meeting when they are having a better
The reason this works so well is that they have a visable sign in their hand
as a reminder. This is especially needed with A.D.H.D. children who can't
remember from one minute to the next what was said .
Hope this helps.
