I feel that there is a compromise to recognize boys that are taking any type
of martial arts at the Cub level.
This has come up at more that one training session, and I have addressed it
at the pack level. *My* take on this, after studying Tae Kwon Do as an adult
was to instruct leaders and parents that the *conditioniong, and exercise*
that the boys use to warm up and stay in shape can count as time for
their physical fitness sports pin. They may not count any time spent
Again, this is *my* answer to this issue, not a national rule. Nor, do I
believe that I am going against BSA policy with this attitude.
