Welcome to Scout-Lrs who introduced themselves (31Oct97-15Nov97)
Hello U-All or Hello ya'll
(A US Southern Welcome =
(Warm, Friendly, and Encouraging
(^-Well it was that way in Lawton, OK in '71'
Minnesota ???-DL Mary A
^-Four boys means you are a glutten for commotion, HUGS,
-and scouting for years and years.
^-What kind of a Cub Pack Handbook??
- I personally think you have enough in what is already provided.
- But HEY I could be misguided. Ask away until you get stuff!!
RhodeIsland SM John B
^-Well you certainly were short about yourself. 4'2" is a guess.
^-1987 must have a quiet year for Eagles. (Prove Otherwise [:-)
^-How about a smidgen about your goals with this list
NoWhere Cub/Scout & PowWow Commander Jacquelin B
^-Well you certainly are busy and have done lots of good stuff.
^-Have any Family History Merit Badge write ups you can share
Alabama CubM Ricky
^-In the recent past we've talked a lot about Boy Scout stuff, those
pesky adults, and transitions from Webelos to Boy Scouting.
^-Please initiate any training treads.
COLOMBIA ???? Eduin or Dragon
^-Come On Now!! Give us English Speakers, and Yanks, more about you
^-What's Up with> "I'm Dragon Adalid" and "Eduin Yesid Carrillo Vega"
^-"Does Yuan Valdez really exist" or does he live in SanteFe,
or Hollywood. Our inquiring Scouters e.g. in Spain want to know.
Manchester CubLeader Colin F
^-As for your collection hobby, a guy on the list keeps on =
publishing about his Patch-L List so jump in and check it out.
^-Recently we had a "Wearing of the Kilt" Tread
So "Be Prepared" for some topics from your UK neighbors.
SouthDakota Bear-DL Michelle
^-I love your "Energized" Comment. Keep up that enthusiasm in Bears
We need that same energy in BoyScouts so supply us with "Hot Shots"
Sorry yet I love making and keeping potential energies as kinetic
^-Agree, Keep those parents as part of the equation. They need =
and want to be included. You got the equation for sitting back
and letting others grow within the framework. Keep it up! You are =
already a Boy Scout Leader and don't know it. Hopefully you
gave your mate Ricky something to do.
^-Smaller groups is important in BoyScouts because we are building
on the boy's leadership abilities and they lead each other better
with a smaller number like 3 to 8.
Arizona/Boston Council-ManyHats Neil L
^-Yeah 42 was tough awhile ago, but it passes like the clouds
^-WOAH!! You know you got a lot to offer. SO CHIME IN, and RING THAT
Minuteman Bell. I do like Boston with its respectful people, and =
fish. It sounds a lot like Seattle, and a thousand other places.
^-Wait a minute!! Haven't we seen you ringing your Bell already.
SouthCarolina CubM Angel R.
^-So how was that first shot in the spot light as POW WOW trainer
^-Well what do you know Minnesota Mary A and you should talk about
your stuff and a pile more listers including some CA Gals.
^-Inspiring Conversation here?? We have been waiting for YOU
NewJersey A-CubM Robert S
^-I know this might be asking too much but did you ever think about
repeating your roof acrobatics when you move up to boy scouts so =
your scouts could do better on their First Aid Merit Badge. Of =
course check your physical and mental footing before you accept.
^-Welcome back and slap your back, you did come back.
WestVirginia CubM/Camp BigWigs Ron&Michele
^-Heard a lot of bad stories from those Coal Fields in the 20's.
It was a hard up road for those immigrants trapped in the USA
^-You have a lot to offer with all that Camp Experience.
How do you handle Tick Checks for the boys at your Camp??
Mississippi Cubs-???? Richard N
^-Come on Richard, Introduce yourself a smidgen more.
^-You know the drill mothers maiden name, favorite bedtime story
-color, radio program, food group etc. }(:-;
Georgia ASM Richard S
^-32 yrs as your SM, I guess at 43 you can take on a new career =
for a lifetime, since he has and is still doing it quite well.
^-Tell us about your Venture Program
Minnesota Scout-UC/ManyHats Todd T
^-Well Todd with all that experience Chime IN
^-Thanks for jumping in and being a Tiger for a smidgen.
MissiourEYE ASM Devin W
^-Great to Have You, I am sure you shall give us interesting stuff
^I have wanted to do a Computer Merit Badge Class that was quite
unique, yet can't spend the time preparing for it. Any work or =
thoughts in this area?
For you new guys/gals don't mind any one of us, or get discouraged
by our tangents to hyperboles. Read Jon Eidson's pleasant Guideline
stuff when you signed on and when ever you WANT to KNOW since it is
really good. You will all soon hear and feel our very own Black =
Eagle Swoop Down upon us with Wisdom from the Scout Sky. He is just
the Big Bear with a Golden Heart so Bear with his Capitalization for =
emphasis and CHIME IN with your concern, question, and any dis-
agreement so that all us Wasically Wabbits, Eager Eagles, Protective
Pythons, or whatevers can chime in with opinions, facts, have fun,
learn, and stay on our toes.
I did this first on 10/31, and had lots of positive feedback from
as far away as Australia, Mexico, and a guy who once lived in my
community. Have a Good time and Contribute without fear.
