First, thanks for the ideas on patrol boxes. Gotten some good responses,
and welcome more. Keep those cards and letters coming, as they say.
Now to add a new question to the mix. Steve Tobin reminded me of the
patrol box plans on his NetWoods web site and while there I was browsing
his recipes listings. That reminded me that a friend recently was looking
for a recipe for Red Flannel Hash. As I recall, beets gave it the
distinctive red coloring. I could not find it in my pile of Scout stuff.
Anybody out there have the recipe for Red Flannel Hash in their pile?
