Scoutmaster Fundamentals Training Question

I'm curious about the length of the SM Fundamentals courses offered
around the country. I know that national has shortened the recommended
time and edited some of the program topics that used to be offered.
Here in Pelathe District, Heart of America Council, we require two
Wednesday nights and two weekends. In addition, on late Sunday
afternoon of the first weekend we require Youth Protection if not
already acquired and late on the second weekend, MB councellor tng.
Do other districts do anything like this. I've been on training staff
for about four years and have noticed that we continue to have
scouters join us from other districts. The reason given is that
they've heard about how extensive our program is and wanted to get
it through Pelathe. I'd appreciate any replies on the lenght of
SMF courses around the country.
