LouAnn and all,
Regarding ways to address proper uniforming?
We ran a "walk on" skit at roundtable regarding over accessorizing our
uniforms . We had someone take a uniform and hang everything they could think
of on it and come blazenly stroll into to a roundtable in process. The
moderator, using the group and a little comedy begins to critique the scouter
The key here is comedy, group participation and critique, not criticism.
Equal shots can be taken at the uniform police. It usually adds a light
moment to RT and is a good time to send everyone to breakouts.
We also do a similar skit with knives.
It worked for us. No, not everyone to this day wears a perfect uniform, but
over accessorizing has become a catch phrase.
