We are not proposing that we should develop a corps of "bandaid counselors"
doing first aid on those at risk of suicide.
What I am proposing is that ALL Scouts, Scouters, and parents should be
trained (as I have said before) not so they can solve the problems of the
world, but that they will see the person at risk, express concern, offer help
and support, and refer to the proper professional helper.
And as Cliff (I believe) BSA (we) have the best organization in the nation to
confront this issue.
