Electric candles are easy to find -- particularly in the US at this time
of year! Instead of lighting them with a match, you just twist the bulb
a little. The battery-operated ones don't even need cords and outlets.
You can even paint the stems, or use the plastic shower-curtain-rod
cover, or wrap them in colored paper.
