One of the ways that our Troop solved this problem (yes, we used vacation
time) was to schedule our week at camp over the 4th of July. That meant that
a couple people would take the days before off and some would take the days
after off. That way we always had full coverage and people didn't have to
take off a full week.
Now that our Troop has grown - we practically have to set limits on how many
leaders can go - they find it to be a very relaxing, rewarding vacation!!
Camp is a great experience - and so different than the normal 'family'
vacations of driving, driving, driving and spending $$$$. I would recommend
it highly };-0
