At 08:17 AM 11/11/97 +0000, Frank Porter asked:
>If an active ASM is also a district activity chairman, what color epaulets
>does he wear?
Frank, et al:
>From the latest edition of the Insignia Guide, page 9:
"Colored shoulder loops identify the area of Scouting: blue, Cub Scouting;
red, Boy Scouting; blaze, Varsity Scouting; green, Exploring; silver,
council and district; gold, national and regional. WEAR THE COLOR FOR THE
POSITION IN WHICH YOU ARE FUNCTIONING." (Emphasis added).
So, when acting in his capacity as an ASM, he should wear red; when acting
in his capacity as district activity chairman, he should wear silver.
