A friend asked me to forward this. Looks like fun!
To all Boy Scouts in the Southern California area who are 12 years old
and older, their friends and families:
I would like to extend an invitation to you to participate with the
Girls Scouts in decorating Rose Parade Floats (the location of the work
is in the city of Duarte).
The dates are December 26 thru 30, each day runs 2 shifts, 8 am to 4 pm
and 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm (sometimes midnight). If you are interested,
please e-mail me at mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org and send your
snail mail so that I can send you further information and registration
forms. You will actually even get paid a small amount (averages about
45 cents per person per hour), but consider doing it for the fun of it.
We would love to have you join us.
Yours in Scouting
Brenda Royer aka Frog Mama Co-Leader, Cadette Troop 1454, SFVGSC
P.S. if you visit this site, click on Our Adventures, and then on Rose
