Another den meeting

I don't believe that this is a new idea, but it is something that is very
popular with my den. Every year we have a "fishing tournament". The den
meets at a local pond or lake (hopefully with parent) and for one hour, we
fish. As fish are caught, our den chief measures how many inches long each
fish is and keeps a running tally for each boy.
After 1 hour, whoever has the most "inches of fish" gets a small
trophy. You can usually purchase a small trophy for 5$ or less. All fish
are released as soon as they are measured. This has been a yearly highlight
with my den, maybe yours would like it too. I'd like to hear about any
especially great meetings that other dens have had.
