Subject: Cold Weather's A Coming

In filing away this great info Mr Mike B has given us I wanted to =
mention an idea I have used to suggest you each use as you wish.
In the Back of the BoyScoutHandbook I created a Camping Guidelines
and Check List set of pages to be attached at the back of the book.
It is attached with an industrial strength double stick tape like
one made by those guys/gals from (Min ah sow tah) i.e. 3M so it doesn't
cover the insigna stuff. A cover page or two is in the front and then
there is a list for each season or type of outing. e.g. Caving
I continually change these guidelines each time a message like this comes=
along or a scout makes his own with new, unique ideas, or I go to an
event and a Boy or Troop has created their own which I immediately
pull into my stash for those "Rainy Cold Campouts" so to speak.
By the way since I haven't gotten back to the subject, with another
1969 treasured Handbook (PAM 21-13)
I do have "GET OUT OF THOSE SOCKS" someplace in the guide
and put on a fresh pair in the morning because "A scout moves with
his feet" "Without his feet where does a scout go?"
The Beauty of this message Mr Mike B passes on is that =
Sometimes emotion and what we think and feel doesn't work
Sometimes science does take precedence over emotion and makes
us and the boys better prepared for any old thing.
YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
