If I'd "bought" a product that failed to live up to expectations, I'd
return it to the point of purchase for a refund! In the end, the
responsibility for the "shrinking/peeling" Tiger Paws belongs to the
company that manufactured them (not BSA.) however, my experience in
retailing suggests that the problem product be returned to the store (Scout
Schop?) and from there be returned to the manufacturer, which should
reimburse the store. Unless the store gets them back, it can't send them
"back to the factory."
