When I was an 11 year old Girl Guide in Canada, we took the St. John's
Ambulance course. (I still have my badge and certificate!) We learned basic
first aid, CPR, and even more advanced first aid techniques than what is
taught in First Aid courses in the U.S. This knowledge has stayed with me,
and I have had several occasions to use what I learned back then. I honestly
believe that this training is what makes me stop and help when I see an
accident by the side of the road, insteading of just looking.
My point is, you're never too young to learn how to save a life safely.
Didn't Cory the Tiger Cub teach us that?
