We frequently drive to a common location together but we do not convoy.
Each driver knows the checkpoints and can proceed at his/her own pace.
When you convoy, there is a tendancy for the last car or two to try and
slip through on the yellow light just to keep up. And, everyone except
the back car spends more time looking in the rear view mirror than is
There is considerable value in having vehicles traveling together but
there is no need to "convoy." Just travel checkpoint to checkpoint.
