You might want to post your private e-mail. A question like this
SHOULD get a flood of answers so I'll keep mine short.
Where other parents there? Especially, the terrrorist? There
comes a time when a time out is appropriate. That way, thge boys know that
it's "fun and doing" that is desired, not a rampage. As the Den goes and
grows together, parent attendance might shift from time to time (keeping
2-deep), but by then, the boys should understand and be involved more with
the program than with an " anything I can get away with " attitude.
I've found that being organized with what you think an adult
totally focused on the goal can accomplish in the 60-90 minutes will
probably give you the 2-3 times as much as you need for the boys. That
also gives the flexability of dropping what's not working or saving
something for next time when another something is doing well.
