When doing some more looking on the uniform issue that has been
coming up time and time again I have done a little more in the research

the appropriate thing. I believe the boy scout handbook (refer to page
566) has the best thing to say.
Scout Uniform. Wearing a uniform is part of the thrill of being a Scout.
Put on your uniform and you feel ready for hiking, camping, and other
Scout activities. by dressing alkie, you and all other Scouts show that
you are equals in the spirit of brotherhood and that you stand for
Wear you uniform proudly. It is a steady reminder to you and to
others that a Scout is a person who can be trusted to lend a hand when
help is needed. Dressed as a Scout, you want to act as a Scout.
The parts of a uniform. The Scout uniform consists of a cap or a

hiking boots. For cold weather, your troop will prefer the long-sleeve
