I appreciate recognition as much as the next guy, but anyone who thinks
that recognizing our most successful Scouts takes away from the adults
might want to check their priorities.
But, I stray from the point I wanted to make. Many Eagles are nearing
adulthood. Exposing them to this dinner might make one or two of them
think about how they might continue with Scouting as adults. They are
certainly one of the best possible pools of potential adult leaders.
Frankly, I don't see the downside to including them.
