Hello wise list.
While we are on the subject of uniforms I have a couple of questions. A
boy in our pack got his dad's BOY SCOUT uniform and wanted to wear it.
He made his mom call and ask me if it was ok. I said no he can't wear a
BOY SCOUT uniform he is a CUB SCOUT. Now I have heard through the
grapevine (numerous grapes) that another boy in the same den wore his
dad's uniform, cub, with all the patches, badges, and arrow points. OH
BOY did that start something!!!
My question is Can this boy wear dad's uniform including dad's badges and
awards? I think the parents should let the boy wear dad's uniform by all
means but I think the badges and such is too much. Do we need to make a
rule that you can only wear what you have earned, not what dad earned?
Is it ok to wear the Council patch if it is the same council but a
I would love to know what the rules are governing this situation. I know
you won't let me down!!!
