Whew! For a moment, I thought that we were the only one who did
this.....and have for a while. Our only change is that we do *not* do BOR
*during* a meeting. Before, after, separately scheduled, on a camping trip
(usually at night, then), or at summer camp but *not* when the boy should
be aprticipating somewhere else.
They also get the patch ASAP, usually at the next troop meeting. The signed
card & mother's pin come at the Court of Honor.
It gives the needed immediate recognition !!
