I would like to extend my congratulations to all women past and present
who have served in our armed forces, but I would also like to extend it
to the donut dollies and USO volunteers. As a two tour Vietnam Vet,
Granada, Panama, Beruit and Gulf War vet. The women that served in the
hospitals, supply sections and all jobs made fighting in the bush alot
easier because we knew that they could be counted on to get us the
supplies or take care of our injured buddies. This memorial is a long
time over-due, and I am proud to say that in 26 years of service to my
Marine Corps and my country some of the most professional military
people that I encountered were the women in uniform. God bless you all,
especally those at China Beach which helped me.
