Purple Bishop Story

As a Scout growing up in New Jersey, I would spend two weeks at Camp
Mohican outside Blairstown, NJ. Part of that camping experience was the
telling of ghost stories around our camp fire at Indian Point, a peninsula
that jutted out into Catfish pond which was within Camp Mohican.
The story line had something to do with a haunted church and a bishop and
all I can remember was that it was probably one of the best ghost stories I
had heard at summer camp. But that was over 30 years ago and I'm searching
for the story to tell the Scouts in Troop 965, Webster, Maryland.
If any of you Scouters out there were at Camp Mohican and now the Purple
Bishop story or if this story was known to other Scouters in other
councils, I wonder if you could send it to me.
