Your adult leaders should have told the boy to change his socks.
I agree with the mom pulling her son.
Young weblows should be built into scouts not thrust in and
let flounder. Demand performance, Expect failure and lack
of knowledge at the start. Remember as Adult Leaders it is our =
job to teach them "Be Prepared" and "How to Take Care of Themselves"
It doesn't happen by osmossis, Great Words, or repeated failures.
Some of these boys are still bed wetting, don't know when to put
a coat on, wear boots, other boy stuff I can't mention, and are =
afraid to leave their moms for fear of the older guys and us bigger
Keep chugging you have a program that sounds great at the Top End
and needs some tweeking at the Starting Gate.
