The rules sound and seem pretty good and quite adult.
In lieu of an essay I might say a Presentation to the
troop after the material was reviewed by the task-master.
Be careful of embarrassment, or the JASM or SPL using any
of these rules as gang leader intimidation tools. Watch for
awhile and step in to make adjustments and give advice
when needed so the rules become supportive rules.
Before the Troop Committee meets on the issue it would be
best to have JASM and SPL give a presentation to the PLC =
SM/ASM/Active Adult Leaders and then the troop. You can =
learn a lot by listening. These meetings are meant to
strengthen the rules by allowing for review and feedback.
Ideally the PLC should vote on these rules, just like the
Troop Committee will vote.
One thing to remember about rules is that it's always easy
to be the Rule Maker when no rule applies to you.
YiS, IMHO, and may we each attempt to live the SO,SL,SS,SM
