This is a great oppertunity for your Pack. Check with
your local association for the Deaf and use this
oppertunity to teach all Cubs how to sign. This is fun to
do, the kids can talk to each other quietly and will be able to
include the New Tiger Cub in their activities. This would
also help the Deaf child feel less separated.
I have always felt that all people should learn a little sign
just to be helpful and polite. ASL probably would be a good
program for cubs because kids learn new languages quicker.
