Opps, I sent this message to several people, meaning to keep it private
(off-line of SCOUTS-L) as to not clutter up this forum. This is a side
issue concerning HIV information I have found in a university library, so
if you have something to say, PLEASE DO SO PRIVATELY as to not clutter
SCOUTS-L with non-scouting side-issues.
I am trying to educate myself and assertain the validity of both sides.
The purpose of the private EMAIL is to educate myself. In my troop, we
treat everyone as total strangers by having the injured person treat
themself if possible (hand over the med kid), and always use gloves and
dispose of waste properly in a biohazard bag. My troop asks no questions
concerning AIDS, but has a policy that any "special needs" people have a
family member on hand to help with that "special need". This encompasses
handicaps as well...
Again, if you wish to respond, PLEASE RESPOND IN PRIVATE.
Thanks in advance for not responding on SCOUTS-L.
