Telescope Makers - What's Happening?

Over the past three months, I have sent out over 100 sets of plans for
making a Newtonian reflector telescope on a Dobsonian mount. To date, I
have heard nothing concerning how people are faring in making their
It reminds me of having something pass the event horizon of a black hole,
except that X-rays come back from the vicinity of a black hole, whereas
nothing has come back thus far to me. I'd like to think that sending the
plans out to all and sundry was not all for naught.
Please share with me your experiences as you make these telescopes.
