Last year, I had a cub that needed a ride every week. I decided that the
boy was worth the effort it took me. His parent (a single mom with 4
kids, he's the oldest) was supportive and grateful, but I think I would
have done it anyway.
In your case, I think that I would be more concerned with the
appreciation/effort shown by the scout(s) than by the parent, because
they are much older.
In the end it comes down (I think) to a very personal decision.
