Are you familiar with the video & manual put out by national for this (I'm
at work so I don't have the official name or stock number). I'd use this as
the basis for your program. It's great.
This course is a day's program (6 - 7 hours) so you could add more
information. A good addition would be short sessions on the 11 leadership
skills as presented in Council JLT & Woodbadge (Knowing & using resources;
communication; evaluation, etc. (again I forget the list)).
You could also have a session on each of the jobs in the Troop with job
descriptions & showing how they all work together.
Or a session on planning your program for the next year.
Don't forget to schedule some fun time, movie or free time or swim or
Who's cooking? If you have the expertise having the adults do fancy
campfire cooking & serving the kids would be nice.
