The holding cell in the Queens County Court house.
Ok, ok, relax....I wan't arrested or anything, actually I was working on my
Citizenship in the Nation MB. I opted for the choice to visit a Court Hourse.
My Mom demanded that I go in uniform. Since the moment I hit the front door I
got the first class treatment. All the judges, lawyers, court officers..etc,
helped answer my questions, explained things, etc. One judge suggested to me
that i be given a tour of what happens when someone is brought in. So I went
down to the holding pens, was fingerprinted, got a mug shot (it still hangs
proudly on the wall) and was even placed in cuffs.
It was one of the best scouting experiences I ever had....
Oh by the way, incase anyone is wondering that was the only time I got to
see the inside of the Queens County Court House holding pens...in uniform or
