A solution could be those Florescent "Glow Sticks" -- The plastic tubes
that you "break" to start a chemical reaction inside inner chambers.
My pack has used them at our Council Family Camp -- and parents have gott=
up the next morning to grumpily "thank me" for the all-night treat. We
find the better ones (by Coleman) do last all night! =
The Boy Scouts love them, too -- and purchase them regularly at the
Buckskin Council Boy Scout Reservation trading post during summer camp. =
Games with glow sticks -- tying them on cords and swinging them in patter=
-- are among their favorite "afterdark" games.
Locally, we buy Coleman ones at K-Mart, but at this time of year, they ar=
everywhere -- for Halloween.
