>From time to time I have heard the term "patrol dad" on this List. My
impression is that this person is a guide or advisor for the members of the
patrol. Could some of you give me more information on this? Is this person
an ASM? And is there some reason you don't use the title ASM?
I'd like to start this in my Troop and I'm thinking that I might get someone
to be a "Patrol Dad" who might be scared by the title "Assistant Scoutmaster".
