Couldn't emphasize more how dangerous it is to use gunpowder.
A colleague lost eyebrows, hair etc when he tried.
You can use any inflammable like naptha, WD-40, just fill your
tuna can reservoir just before firelight, and leave a funnel or
tube to access the reservoir if it is in the middle of the firepit.
As a suggestion you can carefully break the bulb of a peanut
type automobile light, bend back the leads, and the filament
can ignite the fuel. Just connect the battery wires to the bulb.
