August and September are my busiest Scouting months this year because of
the few hats I have taken on plus I am in Woodbadge this Fall. With the
Troop activities, Cub recruiting, Webelos and Woodbadge, the conversations
in our house have been a bit focused. With that, my favorite oldest son
(Patrol Leader of the Senior Patrol) has requested that we not talk Scouts
at home for awhile.
Looking at it from his point of view, I agreed. We came up with a secret
word (chicken) that when mentioned by him, will remind me to change the
subject. This has made for some interesting conversations.
I love this Scouting Stuff.
