I suggest you call your DE back and ask him, if girls cannot go camping with a Troop, then exactly *how* can
they participate with the Venture program??
Yes, girls can go camping. Yes, Explorers are covered under BSA insurance.
Yes, you are right, she should be held to the same policies (buddy system) as the boys.
*When* she goes camping with the Troop, a female chaperone (Scouter) is required, so unless her mom, or another
female adult is willing to go, she may not. It isn't enough that her father is along, you must have a woman
with the Troop, too.
